The first Huggate Walk took place on Sunday 20th October, and 11 villagers enjoyed a great walk and chat.
Next month’s walk is on Sunday the 17th November and will again start and finish at Huggate village green . Start time 10am and finish about 1pm and the walk will again be around 6 to 7 miles . Dogs on leads welcome and bring your own water/coffee. Please wear suitable waterproofs and footwear as necessary. For any further information contact Clive Owen on 288567.
Would anyone like to put themselves forward as a parish transport champion?
Ryedale Special Families have informed us that a fundraising cycle race will be coming through the village on Saturday 13th July. There will be 300 cyclists passing through Huggate between 9:30 and 11:30 am and will be in groups of no more than 15 riders, at 3 minute intervals, in order to try and minimise any traffic disruption. They wanted to let as many people know as possible so as to cause minimum disruption.
